Working with the Jefferson County Department of Environmental Services to prepare for an expansion of an existing wastewater treatment plant, Schoel designed and permitted the relocation of 4000 feet of Valley Creek at the Valley Creek Waste Water Treatment Plant. The design and permitting included a 404 permit from the Corp of Engineers as well as approval from FEMA and the preparation of a letter of map revision relocating the flood zones in this area. In addition, Schoel designed a new bridge to cross the relocated creek.
