Adjacent to Shades Creek, the University Park Mixed Use Development is accessed by two bridges constructed as part of this development. The development consists of an office building, senior living facility, 48 patio home lots, and additional property for future development. Schoel coordinated with FEMA to revise the floodway location of Shades Creek adjacent to the development. In addition, we studied the impacts of the development of the flood plain and placement of two bridges to ensure compliance with FEMA regulations.
