The Honda Manufacturing Plant in Lincoln, Alabama represents a major milestone in economic development in the State of Alabama. The plant operates in 2 million square feet of plant space and employs approximately 3000 associates. Walter Schoel Engineering began work on the Honda Project when the site was pasture land and has provided a variety of civil, environmental and land surveying related services. We have continued to work with Honda on numerous plant and site expansion projects. Some of our services have included Corps of Engineer Permitting, FERC Permitting, NPDES Permitting, State highway design and permitting, site civil design, master storm water modeling and design, railroad design and permitting, roadway design and many other civil related services.
