3D Laser Scanning

This amazing new technology is now allowing clients to feasibly map the surface of any as constructed improvement. The surface map may include a collection of points, also known as a point cloud. Point clouds can consist of up to hundreds of millions of points in 3D or x, y, z coordinates. It's a great tool for measuring improvements where access for manual measurements is limited or even nonexistent. It is also a tool that exponentially exceeds the speed of conventional surveying techniques.
